Cellulipology
It’s the first known concept (1996 INVENTION PATTERN N° 9601436) that acts on the 2 parameters of the cellulite: the first one of aqueous origin, the second one of adipose origin.
CELLULITE ET AND FAT
For genetic and hormonal reasons, women are naturally prone to cellulite; only 10% of them are not affected! Moreover, the organisation of women’s sub-cutaneous tissue (ark shaped) generates the appearance of its characteristic orange peel aspect.
AGGAVATING FACTORS
We often talk about the “secondary gender character of the female” because cellulite is linked to hormones. Indeed, the imbalance oestrone / progesterone intervenes on the topographic fats’ sites, according to the gender; especially at the different stages of a woman’s life: puberty, post-partum, menopause, use of contraceptive pills
There is a general predisposition to obesity and cellulite based on the race; for example, on Mediterranean women, because of their wider hipbones and their arched backbones.
Some imbalance due to hyper uricemia, hypercholesterolemia, hyperglycaemia, tobacco and alcohol will predispose cellulite formation.
Cellulite affects apathetic, unstable, anxious, insomniac and inactive women more easily. Depression or interpersonal problems also contribute to this predisposition. In addition, stress affects the weight and appetite centres stimulated by the hypothalamus, causing disturbances on fat storage.
Strenuous positions (such as sitting or standing for an extended period of time in warm temperatures), muscular hypotonia, slow vein activity (heavy legs, varices, visible veins, easy haematoma) and a general bad circulation are also aggravating factors.
